In June 2025, Malhar proudly took the stage at the renowned Zamanand Festival in Munich — becoming the first Indian music band invited to perform before a diverse international audience at this major event. Held along Munich’s iconic car-free festival zone between Odeonsplatz and Siegestor, Zamanand celebrates sustainability, diversity and tolerance while bringing together eight vibrant stages of music from pop, rock, hip-hop to world music.

From high-energy Bollywood and Indian folk fusion to contemporary pop-infused grooves, Malhar Germany delivered a memorable performance that connected deeply with Munich’s multicultural crowd. Performing in the heart of Schwabing/Maxvorstadt, the band’s electrifying set underscored their dynamic presence in Germany’s Indian entertainment scene. 

While we are proud to be a part of a festival with such a noble and much-needed cause, this featured appearance at Zamanand enhances Malhar Germany’s profile across Germany and all of Europe — showcasing their ability to headline major street-festivals and international cultural events with Indian folk, pop and Bollywood fusion at its heart.
