Malhar Band proudly marked a historic moment by performing at the International Day Against Racism (Internationaler Tag gegenRassismus) at Munich’s iconic Odeonsplatz. It is not everyday that one gets to perform at a stage set up directly at the iconic square! Invited by Migrationsbeirat München, Carmen Romano and Morgen e.V., we were honored to be recognized as the first Indian band in Germany to perform at this meaningful and globally significant event.

Despite the chilly Munich evening, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, unity, and celebration. Our performance brought together diverse communities through the universal language of music, as audiences gathered to stand against racism and celebrate humanity. From rhythmic beats to vibrant melodies, the crowd didn’t just listen—they danced, connected, and shared in the spirit of inclusivity.

This special event reinforced the power of music as a bridge between cultures. Being part of such an important social cause aligns deeply with Malhar Band’s vision of spreading positivity, diversity, and cultural harmony across Germany and beyond.
